So – I spent a day getting myself set up and making a blog post about MAP – it’s how I process things 🙂 And it’s helpful to send to prospects to read if they won’t take the time to watch the webinar.
Just when I was about to start marketing I got an email from a long-term friend and business associate. He’d come across the MAP Backer opportunity and wondered what I thought about it. Did I know the founders?
Oops, well as I’d already joined it, and he hadn’t, I quickly sent him my own link, told him I thought it was briliiant, and would love to work with him again as we’ve worked well together in the past. (Since Virtual World Direct days – if that means anything to anyone!) Yes, we’re marketing dinosuars, with many years of experience working together.
In the meantime, I contacted another trusted Facebook friend I’d worked with several times, showed him the video, and he too had the experience and understanding that he ‘got it’ and joined right away.
So I earned two lots of 75% commissions within my first 3 days. And because Platinum members earn on two levels of commission, when they start introducing people I’ll be earning second level commissions.
My First Two MAP Backer Sales In Just Three Days
The big takeaway from that MAP commission image above is that even free members (only available in Phase 3, after full launch) can make a very decent commission for zero outlay. However, imagine seeing that in your back office as a free member and realising that if you had been a Platinum member you would have earned almost 3 times more. Then think of it multiplied to show 4 sales, 6 and so on.
If your circumstances don’t allow you to take the Platinum Backer position right now, you may prefer to to take the ‘free’ and therefore risk-free approach to running an online business. That’s for you to decide. It’s good to have the choice AND good to be able to earn with no outlay.

Was It 100% Plain Sailing?
No, of course not.
I showed the plan to about 4 other people who I thought were excellent candidates, but they either didn’t ‘get it’ or didn’t have the funds available. Never mind – early days still and they’re good marketers, so if they join later, I may even end up earning more from them than if they had joined as MAP Backers.
I moved to email marketing and blogging from Facebook marketing, which I was starting to find tedious – because I’m not predatory (or patient) enough.
While We’re On MAP Commissions…
Here are the percentage commissions you’ll earn on each of the 4 Master Affiliate Profits membership levels (Free, Silver, Gold and Platinum).

So Why Become a MAP Backer Now?
If you’re risk-averse, or cash-strapped, you may prefer to wait for the full launch. But knowing the MAP founders as I do, I am 100% confident that this WILL be a successful and profitable move – err, as you’ve seen above my earnings are already greater than my outlay, and we’ve not even had the full launch yet.
However, the other reasons are:
- The Backer price ($797) is for life, after launch the higher commission earning membership fees will be monthly
- All John and Omar’s own traffic is going into a rotator for Platinum Backer members, and while there are so few of us, we have a bigger chance of making a sale from one of the rotator clicks. You’ll see that right from me joining I started getting traffic from the Rotator. The clicks labelled One Link are those that I sent myself and in the right hand column are my tracking IDs. Some from my blog posts and some where I started sending to a squeeze page as I added people to my own ‘Wait List’ for contacting on launch.
- So the earlier I joined the more Rotator traffic I would get.
- The earlier I joined before the full launch, the longer time I had available to make those 75% MAP Backer $563+ commissions, getting me off to a fast start.
